I loved this book because the author encourages us to be creative with all styles of drawings. He shows us many different ways to do this throughout the book. For example, he takes a random household item, say, a high heeled shoe, and with a bit of imagination, that shoe suddenly becomes a spaceship heading off to the moon!

I enjoyed how Donovan Bixley tells us a bit about himself and his drawing at the start of the book. He describes his own journey to becoming an illustrator but doesn’t bore us with words. Instead, he uses pictures and short sentences to get his point across, making me want to turn the page to read more.

I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I believe that every single person has an arty talent hidden somewhere, be it big or small, and this book will help them find it!
